Crystal weapons are a distinct armament class in IIslands of War.

An interesting tool for long-range combat, crystals separate mid-flight to hit a large area. This MIRV-like behavior makes hitting the target easy, but requires timing it just right to ensure that the shards reach the target - or that they separate properly before impact.
They break on impact with shields, so the broken shards will travel on through the shield.
